The Company

The Story of Saint Rita

Since 1976, Santa Rita Srl has processed fresh national produce to create preserved and semi-preserved goods. The Vibo Valentia plant covers an area of 13,000 sq m (1,600 sq m covered and 5,000 sq m of equipped yard) and features modern facilities for the continuous processing and packaging of raw materials, with a daily production capacity of 50 quintals.

Mission and Vision

From its inception, Santa Rita has deemed it necessary to operate in the sector of typical regional specialities, prioritising product quality, followed by the warehouse intake phase through to sales. What is known today as supply chain traceability, within our company, has been a modus operandi spontaneous, which has become the guiding philosophy of corporate policy for obtaining the finished product that satisfies the concept of Quality required by its market. The Company purchases fresh vegetable raw materials of national origin and personally proceeds with the transformation, through natural brine fermentation, in order to guarantee its customers a genuine, high-quality product. During the ripening process, no chemical substances are used, only normal sea salt which allows natural fermentation and therefore product ripening to begin.

Quality

The need to operate in a constantly evolving market obliges the company not to rest on its laurels and drives it to a concrete commitment to improving and evolving its products. Santa Rita is committed daily to implementing new production lines, technological innovation, and continuously improving products, processes, and methods to achieve and consolidate levels of excellence.
